As a participant in the Marketing Leadership Development Program (MLDP), you would be an integral part of DuPont’s effort to accelerate its market driven growth strategy. We are looking for experienced market-focused professionals to take on leadership roles that contribute to the sustainable growth of DuPont.
The MLDP is a rotational leadership development program that offers an accelerated, customized career path designed to prepare you to become a future leader in DuPont. Leveraging your marketing and strategy skills, you will be challenged with high-impact assignments oriented to your individual career goals and development ambitions. The DuPont program is differentiated by providing formalized mentoring with corporate leaders, a network of global community peers, and exposure to the diverse businesses within DuPont.
MLDP participants are experienced market-focused professionals who exhibit the potential to become DuPont’s future business leaders. The program is designed as a three-year rotational experience where participants complete 2-3 assignments each lasting approximately 18 months. Assignments provide opportunities to drive visible business results, to experience work in diverse functional environments, and to learn in-depth about DuPont markets, products and strategies which enables participants to assume key leadership roles in DuPont businesses.
Participants experience global exposure, work-life balance in an open environment, and both formal and on-the-job training. Throughout their assignments, participants have opportunities to demonstrate leadership both within their business roles as well as within their MLDP responsibilities that help drive the success of the program. As a member of MLDP, you have visibility with senior managers in DuPont who serve as executive mentors within the program. You will also learn and understand the differentiating power DuPont’s core values of ethical behavior, safety, respect for people, and environmental stewardship provide to the Company and our employees.
Rotational assignments may include: Strategic Marketing and Execution, Business Strategy and Planning, Product Innovation, Commercialization and Management, Sales Effectiveness, and Business Development.
Assignment Location
Assignments are primarily located in Wilmington, Delaware, the site headquarters for several DuPont businesses. For 2 nd and 3 rd assignments, opportunities may be available throughout the U.S. or internationally, depending on business need and demonstrated skills, including Des Moines, IA (Headquarters for Pioneer), Richmond, VA, St. Louis, MO. All positions may require domestic or international travel.
International Students
At this time, the MLDP is seeking students available for full-time positions in the countries listed below*. This list will be updated periodically based on business needs. • China • Japan • Mexico • Brazil • Singapore • Indonesia • Vietnam • Thailand
*For consideration, individuals must have the legal right to work in the specified country.
For International participants, you may initially have exposure to one or two assignments in the U.S. depending on business need. Currently for China all full time assignments will begin in China.
Minimum Skills Required • MBA (completed) with an emphasis on marketing, corporate strategy or general management • Demonstrated leadership experience • Strategic thinking • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills • Excellent writing/verbal communication and presentation skills
Offers of employment through the Marketing Leadership Development Program of DuPont are contingent upon a candidate’s ability to demonstrate that he/she is authorized to work in the United States or in the international hiring location posted for this year. If a candidate is a student authorized to work based on Optional Practical Training (OPT), then an assignment in the United States will not exceed the period of work authorization.
